L'Anse Creuse Public Schools

Two trips for the price of one!  In the morning, we’ll enjoy browsing the Eastern Market and shopping at several local shops surrounding the market.  We’ll rejoin the group for a lovely lunch at Farmer Franks.  This cozy establishment is located next to the market and features a delicious selection of sandwiches including, but not limited to:  pastrami & swiss, super chicken melt, turkey avocado, pulled pork and corned beef Rueben.  Following the lunch we will head to The War Memorial which is situated on the grounds of the historic Alger Estate in Grosse Point Farms.  The grounds of the War Memorial are filled with inspiration, serves over 250,000 individuals annually and proves to be a unique dynamic and thought-provoking hub for Southeast Michigan.  As they embark on their 75th year as a community non-profit organization, this tour will fascinate you as you learn about the rich history and enjoy the beautiful scenery.  9:15 am departure from Walmart in Chesterfield.  Approximate return time:  3:15 pm
