L’Anse Creuse Wrestling Club, Inc. is a youth-based organization that teaches fundamental wrestling skills to boys and girls between ages of 4 and 14 years of age (pre-K-8^th grade). Our mission is to teach wrestling skills and develop a passion for this great sport. Our focus will be to develop each young wrestler’s potential in a competitive and fun environment. The coaching staff will emphasis life lessons. Through the importance of teamwork, courage, honesty, respect, integrity, preparation, perseverance and above all, FUN! Groups will be separated by age and skill level. Competition is optional, every Sunday starting in January.

L'Anse Creuse Middle School United is comprised of all four middle school aged boys and girls. We will have competitions against other local middle schools and individual tournaments starting in late February.

First Practice For EVERYONE (All levels)

Cost of Program: $175 includes T-shirt, shorts MYWAY membership, and use of Uniform (only needed for competition and availability).

$175 Middle School United (6^th- 8^th)

$250 Combined Youth (MYWAY) and Middle School 

Practice Information***Same as last year!

Wrestlers will be assigned to a group based on age and experience.  All practices will be held in the Wrestling Room at L'Anse Creuse High School North, 23700 21 Mile Rd, Macomb MI 48042.

Novice (1&2 year experience) Tuesday & Thursday 6:15-7:30pm

Intermediate Group: Monday and Wednesday 6:15-7:30 pm

Advance/Middle School: Tues. Wed. Thurs 7:00-8:45 pm

Please note that times may change based on club size and availability of coaches. However, when changes are absolutely necessary, those changes we will be communicated in advance.

Tournaments/Participation

We are a registered club with the Michigan Youth Wrestling Association (MYWAY). MYWAY is a state-wide organization divided into 8 regions; we are in the Metro region. MYWAY runs local tournaments almost every Sunday from December through March with a regional championship mid-March and state championship near the end of March. COMPETING IN TOURNAMENTS IS OPTIONAL and incurs an additional cost of approximately $15 per tournament. Wrestlers are grouped together by age, weight and experience.

Cost of Program:

$150 – Youth Program - First practice: Nov 3rd

$150 – Middle School Program (January - March 2026) 

$225 – Combined Youth and Middle School Programs
