L'Anse Creuse Public Schools

Open to all L'Anse Creuse students grades K - 8.   Clinics and Tryouts will be held at MSE in the cafe.

CLINIC INFORMATION:

April 29:  (MS 4 - 5:30 pm) (Mini's 5:30 - 6:30 pm) (Elite 6:30 - 7:30 pm)

Parent meeting at 8:15 pm via zoom.  We will email the zoom link 3 days prior. 

TRYOUT/PLACEMENTS:   

Day 1 - May 12:  (MS 4 - 6:00 pm) (Elite & Mini 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Day 2 - May 13:  (MS 4 - 5:30 pm) (Elite & Mini's 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm)

Day 3 - May 14:  Final Day Try out (4:00 pm - 8:30 pm)

**We highly recommend 3rd graders go to both Mini & Elite clinics.

**We highly recommend all 5th graders go to both Elite & MS Clinics. 

The goal of this program is to build strong, confident, well-rounded individuals and to learn team building skills through the art of dance.  We hope to build character in each athlete by setting high standards, holding athletes accountable, as well as teaching and encouraging self-discipline and personal goal setting. 

A current sports physical must be on file with the dance coach prior to trying out. (No exceptions!) Click here: Sports Physical

A completed tryout packet with a current photo of your dancer and current sports physical must be turned in at the first clinic your dancer is participating in. Tryouts are mandatory to participate in this program. Students will be placed on one of three teams, based on skill and ability.

What to wear? Any appropriate dance attire with dance shoes. No jeans.

Tentative practice schedules and financial commitments will be given out during the parent meetings on 4/16 & 4/24. Finalized schedules will not be given out until after teams have been chosen.

Mark your calendar, these are the upcoming Phase 1 Technical Tryouts:

Phase 2: Performance Tryouts. Dancers will be contacted via email and given a registration link prior to these tryouts.  Dates and Times TBD.
