Phase 1 Tryout Schedule:April 16: (MS 3 - 4:30 pm) (Elite 5 - 6:30) (Mini's 6:45 - 8 pm)April 24: (MS 4 - 5 pm) (Elite 5 - 6 pm) (Mini's 6 - 7 pm)May 6: (MS 4 - 5 pm) (Elite 5 - 6 pm) (Mini's 6 - 7 pm)May 7: (MS 3 - 4:30 pm) (Elite 5 - 6:30) (Mini's 6:45 - 8 pm)The goal of this program is to build strong, confident, well-rounded individuals and to learn team building skills through the art of dance. We hope to build character in each athlete by setting high standards, holding athletes accountable, as well as teaching and encouraging self-discipline and personal goal setting. A current sports physical must be on file with the dance coach prior to trying out. (No exceptions!) Click here: Sports PhysicalA completed tryout packet with a current photo of your dancer and current sports physical must be turned in at the first clinic your dancer is participating in. Tryouts are mandatory to participate in this program. Students will be placed on one of three teams, based on skill and ability.Where? Meetings and tryouts will take place at Atwood in the gym. Parent meeting: This will take place at the beginning of each Phase 1 Tryout on 4/16 & 4/24. Plan to attend the parent meeting on both of these dates. We highly recommend attending one of the parent meetings but if you’re unable to do so please email the coaching staff and we will send out information shared at the meeting.What to wear? Any appropriate dance attire with dance shoes. No jeans.Tentative practice schedules and financial commitments will be given out during the parent meetings on 4/16 & 4/24. Finalized schedules will not be given out until after teams have been chosen. Mark your calendar, these are the upcoming Phase 1 Technical Tryouts:Phase 2: Performance Tryouts. Dancers will be contacted via email and given a registration link prior to these tryouts.May 12th - Mini's - 5:30 - 7:30 pmMay 13th - Elite - 5:30 - 7:30 pm May 14th - MS - 5:30 - 7:30 pm May 15: 5 - 8 pm: Final Day try out - tryout groups will be posted upon arrival to the gymMore info needed?
