    Summer Explorers is a 4 week continuum of education for enrolled L'Anse Creuse students. Class meets at Green Elementary; July 7 - July 31, 2025; Monday - Thursday; 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. Bus transportation is available to and from Green with pickup/drop off at each L'Anse Creuse elementary building. Parent MUST sign up each child during the registration process for a child to be eligible to ride the bus. Students need to bring a snack and water each day. $7 cancellation fee applies to all refunds before classes begin. No refunds after classes begin.

  • Babysitter/CPR/First Aid & Safe Home Alone

    Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. One-day class. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during break. Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the same room as class. This class sometimes ends late, approximately 10 minutes.     Buy me some peanuts and Crackerjack…. or a hotdog, chips, and pop which are included in this trip to Comerica Park! Cheer on your Detroit Tigers as they head to the play-offs (fingers crossed)! We have tickets in shaded Section 114; Rows 41 and 42 as the Tigers take on the Cleveland Guardians. Hoping to beat the heat by heading out to the park later in the season.     Tuesday, September 16, 2025 In the mood for a FUN DAY in FRANKENMUTH? If so, join us on this trip. The day starts out with some time to shop in Frankenmuth’s unique shops. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy Zehnder’s Plated 2-piece Chicken Luncheon. Lunch comes with sides, dessert and beverage. Following lunch, we’ll enjoy Zehnder’s featured show, “Beach Party Boys”, a Beach Boys Tribute Concert. The show has been described as the “Ultimate Beach Party” and will include such hits as “Barbara Ann”, “Help Me Rhonda”, “Surfin’ USA”, “Little Deuce Coupe”, “God Only Knows”,”Wouldn’t It Be Nice”, and “Good Vibrations”. The day ends with a cruise down the Cass River aboard the Bavarian Belle Riverboat, an authentic paddlewheel riverboat. Sound like a fun day? We think so. Trip departs from the back parking lot of the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center. Depart: 8:30 am Approximate return: 6:30 pm No refunds will be issued for trips and tours, unless there is a waitlist and someone is able to fill your spot.     The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a state funded preschool program for children who will be 4 on or before September 1, 2022 and whose families meet or come close to the income criteria. Classes are Monday through Thursday Full Day (7 hrs.).
